INSEAM: crotch to hem
Use a soft tape measure. Don't pull tight. Measure over the clothes you'd wear with these pants. Stand straight. Breathe normal.
β HOW TO MEASURE
- WAIST β Around the narrowest point of your torso. Usually just above the belly button. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- HIP β Around the widest point of your hips and seat. Usually 7-9 inches below the waist.
- INSEAM β From the crotch seam down the inside of your leg to where you want the pants to end. For a stacked look, add 1-3 inches.
- THIGH β Around the widest point of your upper leg. Important for fitted silhouettes.
- HEM OPENING β You don't measure this on yourself β it's a garment spec. Ruff Rotten flare and bell cuts typically use a 36" hem opening. Straight cuts are narrower.
